The Spleen Orchestra is a beautiful mix of music and theater that pays homage to the poetic imagination of the director Tim Burton. Makeup, costumes, scenic designs, projections and special effects will accompany you through a crazy journey: set out for the dark and creepy village of Sleepy Hollow, have a tea with Alice and the Mad Hatter, enter Edward Scissorhands' castle and taste the most delicious sweets baked inside Willy Wonka's factory!
An eight element band will conquer your hearts with original arrangements of some of the most famous soundtracks written by the extraordinary Danny Elfman: powerful drums, the unique timbre of the accordion, the thunderous guitars, the gloomy yet sweet notes of the piano and the intensity of bass gather together with a well-finished sound design to create a really frightful atmosphere, while three singers will give voice and body to your favorite characters! For many years the show named "Tim Burton Show" has appeared on several stages, including the Teatro Parioli of Rome, the Teatro Sociale of Como, festivals such as "Lucca Comics and Games", and "Elfia" in Haarzuilens , in Netherlands and famous italian clubs like the Live Club of Trezzo sull'Adda. In December 2019, The Spleen Orchestra presented "A Burton's Nightmare", a new show at the center of which there's a door. A door that will lead you to the world of nightmares.
