Our events are known to be very photogenic, whether it’s the terrain, our line-up or our beautifully dressed visitors. Of course we’d like to see photo-enthusiasts enjoying this all. In order to let things run smoothly, we have created a photography policy, so everyone will enjoy making photos and having their photo taken.

It is allowed to bring amateur photo and video equipment for personal use and image- and audio recordings that have been made at our events are solely for non-commercial purposes. For photography with cameras with detachable lenses, a photo pass needs to be requested.
Outside this policy are: mobile phones and tablets with photo/video possibilities, regular (digital) photo cameras without detachable lenses.

In case of doubt the organisation decides at its own discretion.

Apply for the Castlefest photo pass

Hobby photographers can apply for a special Castlefest photo pass, which allows them to make photos with a camera with detachable lenses during Castlefest. A prerequisite for this is to accept our Vana Events photography rules of conduct.

After applying you will receive a confirmation within 14 days. The photo pass can be picked up at the info desk near the entrance of the festival. A photo pass gives no free access to Castlefest and is only applies in combination with a valid ticket.
Applying needs to be done prior to the event. You can apply from the beginning of April 2026 onwards. The deadline to apply is July 15th 2026.

When submitting this form I agree to and understand the Vana Events photography policy including the Vana Events Photography rules of conduct and privacy statement.

If the form reports an error, this is often due to one of the following reasons:

• The image must be a .jpg file
• The file name must not contain any spaces or unusual characters (so, for example, not Twoia_fotopas 2022.jpg but Twoiafotopas2022.jpg)
• Every URL must be preceded by http://www or https://www

Once your application has been submitted correctly, you will see a confirmation message on the screen and the form will no longer be visible.
