When do ticket sales start?

General ticket sales for Castlefest 2022 will start on Monday, January 31st, 2022 at 12:00 PM CET.

On January 12th, at 12:00 CET we will start a separate ticket sale for everyone who has a voucher, as a thank you for the trust and for keeping the vouchers. But don't worry: we expect to have enough tickets available for general ticket sales.

What do I do with the voucher I received from Paylogic?

All Castlefest 2021 tickets have been converted to vouchers. The value of these credit vouchers is the price you paid for your tickets. 

The voucher on itself does not grant access to Castlefest 2022 but can be used as a payment method for in the special voucher shop (until december 2021) and in the ticket shop for Castlefest 2022. 

Help, I've lost my voucher code!

You should have received an email from Paylogic on July 19th, 2021 with the voucher code. It is possible that this email ended up in your spam folder at the time.

If you have used part of your voucher for a donation or in the special voucher shop, you have received a new email with your new voucher after completing that order.

If you really can't find your voucher anymore, send an email to info@castlefest.nl with the email address you used to order your tickets at the time. Then we will help you further.

Can I use multiple vouchers in one order?

Yes, it is possible to add multiple vouchers to one order.

When will I receive my tickets?

When you buy tickets, youโ€™ll receive a confirmation e-mail. From February 1st on, you'll receive a link to personalize tickets (link the tickets to the userโ€™s name). After you have personalized the tickets, they will be sent by email on July 18, 2022.

The tickets I want are sold out. Can I still buy them through other channels like TicketSwap or marketplace?

Please mind! Tickets that are being offered through other channels are probably a scam. 

All Castlefest 2022 tickets are personalized and can only be bought through our own channels. When you buy your tickets, you'll receive a confirmation. You can download your tickets after ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ– ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ข ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ.

Because of this, all tickets being offered through other channels right now are invalid and scam.

This also means you can't sell your ticket. If you no longer want to use your ticket, please contact us.

Can I buy a ticket at the box office during Castlefest?

Tickets will only be available online in advance. It will not be possible to purchase a ticket for the event on site.

Tokens can be ordered online. This can be done in advance and on site via your mobile phone. You then pick up the order at one of the machines on site.
In addition, you can also purchase tokens at the machine itself, as usual (this can be done with selected payment cards and cash).

What are the different types of tickets?

This year we are again offering different types of tickets.

First of all, of course, we have the different tickets needed to attend the festival itself:

  • Day ticket - valid on a specific day
  • Passe-partout - valid on Friday, Saturday and Sunday
  • Castlefanatic - valid on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
  • Camping - Only valid in combination with a Castlefanatic ticket. This ticket gives access to the Castlefest campsite

In addition, we also offer the opportunity to celebrate Castlefest online. With the tickets for Castlefest Live you get daily access to the live streams from the various stages and you can dance, sing and feel the festival atmosphere at home.

Is the Thursday ticket back?

Yes that's right! The layout of the festival site is different this year, so we can also welcome people that donโ€™t have a passe-partout or Castlefanatic ticket. On Thursday, part of the festival grounds will be open to be able to taste the atmosphere and enjoy the bands that are programmed on that day.

Is it true that the ticket price has changed?

It has not only been difficult for us in the past two years, but for our suppliers as well. Unfortunately, this has caused them to increase their prices and that setting up our festival has become a lot more expensive.

As a result, we are forced to increase our ticket prices.

The ticket prices you see from Monday, January 31st, 2022 will be the ticket prices as they will remain until the 2022 event. We will not be working with different periods and changing prices this year.

I read that the campsite is at a different location this year, can you tell me more?

The fields that we have gratefully used for the campsite during previous editions have been designated as a nature reserve for native species. To protect nature and its inhabitants, our night party will be moved to the Keukenhof parking lot. This makes the campsite smaller, but it is much easier to reach and the animals are not bothered by our Marco Polo ;-).

This means that the layout and available facilities will be different than during previous editions. All current information about the campsite can be found on this page about the Castlefest campsite.

What about the corona measures this year?

From the very first edition on, our goal has been to make Castlefest a festival where everyone feels at home and safe and where we see and respect each other as we are, no matter who you are, what you believe or what you stand for. Also this year we are lovingly organizing a coming home at Castlefest for everyone. Castlefest is a big festival and like every edition we have to deal with rules that are imposed on us by (local) governments to make the festival possible, such as fire safety, weapon regulations, catering and the like. We now live in a special time, so there is a chance that certain measures will be in place in August 2022 to allow a festival like Castlefest to take place. We do not yet know what these measures are.

Because we want to keep Castlefest accessible to everyone, Castlefest is organized in a hybrid way. This means that you can experience the festival both physically and online. Do you not have the opportunity or would you rather not visit Castlefest physically this year, however still want to experience it? Then take a look at Castlefest Live. This is how we celebrate the Castlefest feeling together, remotely and close by.

When will I receive my refund?

Paylogic will process all refunds as swiftly as possible.

They need some time to process all refunds as they have provide this service not only to us, but other events as well. This is why they work by processing refund requests in batches. As soon as your request has been handled by their system, you will receive an e-mail.

Be aware that different payment methods are of influence on the time needed as well. Payments through PayPal and creditcard will take longer to be fully processed than a bank transfer.

Am I allowed to bring food and drinks to Castlefest?
As every year it is not allowed to bring food and drinks to Castlefest. Of course we wonโ€™t make a fuss about a couple of sandwiches and a bottle of water, but big thermos bags filled with food and drink or crates or trays of beer will not be allowed. Other forms of alcohol will also be confiscated. This has to do with the regulations and our catering permit. We wonโ€™t be as strict as most pop festivals like Lowlands, but we will have to enforce these rules. Thanks for your understanding.
Do I have to pay for parking my bike at the parking lot?
No, you do not have to pay to park your bike.
Are dogs allowed at Castlefest?
Dogs are allowed on the terrain, but are to be kept on a leash. Dogs are not allowed at our campsite (except assistance dogs ). Other animals, in the interest of animal welfare, are not allowed at Castlefest.
Is this event accessible for wheelchair users?
Castlefest takes place on estate grounds. Therefore not every path is evenly paved. However, most paths in the estate grounds are accessible for wheel chairs. Our tent stalls are provided with steel planking and there is a disabled toilet. There are parking spaces available at the parking lot for people with a disabled parking permit.
Can I withdraw money on the Castlefest grounds?
During the event a limited amount of money can be withdrawn at the cash registers. This is allowed after noon as long as there is enough cash available at the cash registers. Maestro and V PAY only.
Do I need to print my ticket?

No, this is not necessary. We can also scan your ticket from your mobile phone, provided that your screen has no cracks.

Can I take photos at Castlefest?

Yes, this is allowed. In case you want to take pictures with a camera with detachable lenses, you will need a Castlefest photo pass. You can apply for this photo pass via our photography page. It is free of charge in combination with a valid ticket.

Is there a place to leave my stuff?

We have a wardrobe service at our information booth.
