For centuries balfolk brings people together to enjoy dance, live music and each other's company. At Castlefest people love Balfolk and therefore the Meadow Stage will be fully set up as Balfolk stage. Here you can enjoy Balfolk bands and dance all day long to the music of Fior, Cardboard Cabin, Hot Griselda and Kelten zonder Grenzen. Not really into dancing? This music is just as wonderful with a drink in the sun!
On Friday, you really can't miss the performances by Prima Nocta and Pat Razket. The guys from Prima Nocta will blow everyone away, while Pat Razket's pirate crew proved last year they know their business in creating a pirate party. And let's not forget about Go_A! This electro-folk band made quite the impression at the Eurovision Song Contest and will now delight Castlefest with their Ukrainian folk tribal vibes.
If you're seeking to expand your knowledge, the Castlefest Academy is the perfect fit for you. Here, you can attend various lectures covering topics ranging from spirituality and history to art.
Speaking of games, the Gamestent is the place to be for all kinds of games. Beat your friends in cool board and card games and discover the latest releases. At the Medieval Spectacle field you will be blown away by impressive tournaments and battles and you can stroll along the various medieval crafts.
