The four musicians of Datura Medieval Music have been around the world all their lives in search of the ancient writings in which music and poetry were left behind after our ancestors kicked the bucket. These parchment manuscripts are not only beautiful works of poets, musicians and artists, they are also a mirror into the past. A past that fascinates the imagination. 

Come and listen to the music of Datura Medieval Music presented with anecdotes, jokes and stories full of myth and knowledge. They take you on a journey through time in ancient Europe, when the rivers were drinkable and the forests were full of robbers and thieves. A time when everything was made by hand and after the hard labour the beer and the stories went down well. Lies, Francesco, Tom and Nynke are the living Middle Ages. All four of them get to speak and this lecture will certainly be funny, wonderful and interesting. Definitely worth the detour.
