Camping News 2025

Hooray! We have great news: the Castlefest campsite is moving again! After extensive conversations with the municipality of Lisse and Keukenhof, we have received the green light to relocate the campsite back to the location where it was from 2017 to 2019. We are thrilled to return to our old spot. This means we will have more camping spots and parking spaces available. Since this news brings many changes, we are sharing all the details in this blog post and answering the most frequently asked questions.

What does this mean for you?

If you already have a camping ticket, it means you will be setting up your tent at the new campsite. We also recommend getting your shopping trolley out of storage, as this location also brings back the long path to the entrance. Just like before 2020, we will provide a luggage shuttle service from the parking lot.

If you don’t have a Castlefanatic camping ticket yet but would like to stay at the campsite, you can now grab your Castlefanatic camping ticket from our ticket shop.

Did you purchase a Castlefanatic ticket without camping or a passe-partout ticket due to the sold-out campsite? Then book your ticket using the exchange tool.

What about campers, caravans, and cabins?

With the relocation of the campsite, we also have space for various extras. Leave your own tent at home and enjoy the convenience of a Festitent, Castle Cabin, or, brand new this year: the Fairy Lodge.
You can find more details about these accommodations on our Stay page.

The accommodations can be booked in the ticket shop when purchasing a camping ticket. If you already have a camping ticket and want to add an accommodation, please email info@castlefest.nl and include your order number.

Do you have a FestiTent but would like to upgrade to a Castle Cabin or Fairy Lodge? You can also email us with your order number for that.

Unfortunately, it is no longer possible to stay at the campsite with a camper or caravan. You can find an overview of campsites nearby on the Other Accommodations page.
