Bert Leemans and Guus Herremans have been friends for over a decade, sharing an inexhaustible passion for music. As seasoned musicians, they have built an impressive repertoire together, rangingfrom captivating dance tunes to intimate listening pieces.

Their joint musical journey began shortly after they met, and they quickly gained attention with theirnew band, both at home and abroad. Serving as driving forces behind projects like Les BottinesArtistiques, EmBRUN, Triple-X & Phlox, they had already gained considerable experience in theinternational circuit. With Airboxes, their musical journey led them to some of Europe's mostprestigious festivals, including Entrudanças in Portugal, Dranouter Festival & Boombalfestival inBelgium, CaDansa in the Netherlands... to name a few. In 2017, Bert and Guus officially joined forces toform Airboxes, a musical project celebrating their deep love for the accordion and pushing theboundaries of traditional accordion music.

With their new, second album "Confluence" Bert and Guus are reaching new heights. Enriched by theaddition of bandoneon, piano, and accordina, this album reflects the duo's ongoing evolution andcreativity. Airboxes takes the audience on a continuous musical exploration, where the magic ofacoustic instruments and the boundless creativity of Bert and Guus come together for an unforgettablelistening experience.
