Faun

Faun combines medieval & ancient instruments with modern influences to create an enchanting and powerful atmosphere. The band's performance incorporates many different instruments, including the hurdy-gurdy, key fiddle, various lutes, and many drums. Also, the melodic vocal section goes from solo folk-like singing of ballads to chant-like and enchanting vocal performances with up two four multilayered voices. Influences of Celtic and Nordic folk and medieval music fusing with driving beats draw an ever-fast-growing crowd of followers.

Since 2002 FAUN has released 11 CDs and played more than 1000 concerts worldwide. They even created their own musical genre „Paganfolk“, where they combine their pagan beliefs and lyrics with their own form of driving, archaic folk music.

After they collaborated eight years with the major label Universal Music and reached platinum and gold status with their chart-breaking CDs, they decided in 2020 to focus more on their pagan roots and the archaic side of folk again. Therefore they started their own label „Pagan Folk Records“ and released their new Album "PAGAN" in April 2022.
