10 Years of Project Dizary. That definitely calls for a big celebration during Castlefest. Several titles will be released this year, including the 11th edition for the project: 1000 en 1 Machten (1000 and 1 Powers). The Dizary story world features not only books, but also games. The new TTRPG Inventors Madness was released in early 2026. With this One Shot, you can play through a number of chapters from the book Demons of Myradé.
Patrick Berkhof is the initiator of the project. He already has six books to his name. But he also invites other authors to contribute. Together, they are building this imaginative world. Johan Klein Haneveld wrote Acmala. An exciting action adventure. Jasper Polane followed with his hilarious Panda en het zwarte Dat (Panda and the Black Thing). Marieke Frankema also contributed. Her Zielenlezer van Turion (Soul Reader of Turion) is also an important piece of the puzzle in the story world of Dizary.
Because so many books have already been published, the story world has been divided into a number of categories. There is the Main Storyline, which currently consists of two books, but more books will be added. Then there is the Jalvin trilogy, which tells the story of how it all began. There are also the Legends, stories that reveal even more about the world and make a major contribution to world building.
Together with Project Epos, Patrick develops tabletop role-playing games. Two one-shots have already been published, both based on the books from the main Dizary storyline. The dream of a game book based on the entire story world is still alive.
