Wild and Sacred Men

Wild and Sacred Men is a community of men who engage in men’s work. But what is that? Is it lumbering around heavy equipment while whistling to pretty ladies who happen to pass by?
No. Men’s work is the work that men do on themselves: it is inner work that is done in the togetherness with other men.
You could say that men’s work is building better men who know who they are and what they want: to be stronger, more confident, connected, caring, aligned, and to have more integrity and sense of purpose.

In men’s work, men gather. They talk openly and honestly about the things that really matter. They face their shadows: the things they try to hide from themselves and others. And they deal with it; accepting it is there, feeling it thoroughly, taking responsibility for their part in it and transforming it into something new. There are many different exercises, techniques and ceremonies that help doing that.

At Castlefest we organise low-key workshops to get a taste of men’s work, with expression and of being together with other men. In between the workshops, feel free to come along for a good conversation, inspiration for an offering for the wicker or to pick up the boxing gloves with any of us.

Wild and Sacred Men is part of the Heathen Gang. Click here if you want to learn more about this heathen 'village' at Castlefest.
