Fascinated by fantasy and the culture of the Middle Ages, Arlieke van Remmerden (1992) has been writing as long as she can remember. A result of her large imagination and perseverance, “Een Lange Reis” is her first novel. The story is about Enyria, who discovers she’s a descendant of the protectors of life, an ancient magical race. This changes her life and she has to go and find her place in the world.
Next to writing, Arlieke likes other forms of creativity as well, like sketching characters, designing fantasy-maps or making clothes for her unborn child.
Arlieke will be signing her books in the Zilverspoor-stand on Friday and Saturday.
