Jennifer Wagemans is an author from Haarlem who likes nothing more than reading and writing fantasy books. As a little child she already wrote short stories and fairytales on a classic typewriter or in the attic at her grandparents’ where she had her own floppy disc. In group 8 she started with her fantasy series “The Legends of Pendar” (Dutch: “De Legendes van Pendar”), which has grown into a complete 6 volume series and a fairytale collection. In addition, she wrote short feelgood “Losgeweekt” and she works on various manuscripts centralizing a touch of magic and diversity. To capture “The Legends of Pendar” series in one sentence it would be as follows: teenagers discover a magical library and try to prevent the exstinction of books which can turn into animals with the help of powerful gemstones.
