Pounding Balkan beats, blazing folk riffs on violin, mandolin and bagpipes, all driven by a thunderous rhythm section: they twist their own songs and beloved classics into an explosive live set that hits like a whirlwind.
This eight-piece band from Belgian Limburg knows how to spark your curiosity from the start. Bagpipes... Loch Lomond... Your head is already bobbing along, your limbs can't wait to join in. Traditional instruments throw a party with contemporary companions. The bard raises his voice. Three songs later, you dance your own weird and elated version of a jig.
Their repertoire is filled with surprising adaptations of folk traditionals, their own songs and favourites from Flogging Molly, the Pogues to Gogol Bordello. With their enthusiasm and unique, danceable sound, every song raises the roof higher!
Over the years they’ve carved out a fierce live reputation, storming stages at Zwarte Cross, Paaspop, Genk on Stage, De Wei in, Tivoli Utrecht and Castlefest. Their 2025 album Alles moet kapot was met with enthusiasm and cemented their unmistakable, rebellious sound.
