Atalanta Nèhmoura is an epic fantasy author. By writing De kronieken van Ulriach de Waanzinnige series, she is making her childhood dream come true. The series currently consists of seven volumes, with an eighth in progress. A ninth volume and a collection of short stories are also planned for publication in the future. Her manuscript De Erfwachter placed second in Luitingh Publishing's manuscript contest and was published by Nimisa.
She has also written short stories for several Pure Fantasy and Books of Fantasy collections. For Nimisa Publishing House, she wrote a gripping story about de heks van Bergh for Legenden uit de Liemers, and a historical story about Jan met de Kaak and het klokkenschip during World War II for Legenden langs de kust.
To Melanie, who was dying, and her family, she promised to fulfill one of Melanie's last wishes by publishing Melanie's story about heksje Wendela as a real children's book.
Atalanta finds inspiration in her love of nature, gemstones, and Oriental martial arts. At the core are Oriental philosophies, unconditional love, friendship, loyalty, and, above all, the balance between good and evil. Her evocative and smooth storytelling style makes for lifelike and compelling stories.
