Representative of contemporary Breton music and pioneer of video mapping in traditional music, Plantec combines acoustic music and sound design around original compositions, keeping tradition as its DNA and a modern vision as its trademark.

Animal energy, wild dances, the trio deploys powerful and communicative energy for an immersive show with sounds from all corners of the world... The band from Bretagne finds inspiration in the Celtic legends and folklore of their own backyard. These pioneers of the new wave of Breton music have been leading the way by imposing their iconoclastic vision on the music scene, whilst continuously evolving and pushing forward their own musical horizons.

In 2020, the trio returned to the studio to record a new album, an album at the crossroads of acoustic and electronic sound, a sound which invokes a world without boundaries. Inevitably, the experience of touring Europe/Asia/Africa in recent years has resulted in many meetings with other artists, and the idea of collaborating with some of these artists soon became self-evident. It is thus in the spirit of this collaboration that the last two albums contain contributions from invited artists, Winston McAnuff & Fixi, Maija Kauhanen, Päivi Hirvonen, Mamadou Diabate, Morwenn Le Normand, Rozenn Talec, Jack & Yujifrom THESYAMISENIST, Laurita Peleniute, as well as a female choir.
