Siep Hendriks (2000) writes, illustrates, and works with cooperative storytelling. In 2023, he graduated with a BA in Creative Writing, and the year before, he was a finalist in Write Now! All of Siep’s work reveals his love for genre fiction, often with a dark edge. His debut novel, the revenge thriller Voordat we slapen, is a fast-paced, richly written exploration of how grief stretches our connections with others. Siep brings a fresh, socially conscious, and diverse perspective to both literature and genre fiction. In addition to being a writer, he is a passionate game master in various tabletop roleplaying games, such as Dungeons & Dragons, including in the web series and podcast Aan Tafel. Siep lives with his cat in Zwolle and is currently working on his second novel.
