This year we meet the Wicker as Dagaz, the Dawn.
On the boundary between night and day, where darkness dissolves into light, Dagaz appears. When the world awakens and daylight slowly reveals all that lay hidden, Dagaz brings the turning point.
Dagaz invites you to stand on that boundary. Between light and dark. Between who you were and who you are becoming. Between the old that you release and the new that presents itself. Transformation does not begin with a great step, but with the realisation that the light has already begun to come, even if you cannot yet see it.
The wings of Dagaz carry the promise of awakening. Not only the awakening of a new day, but the awakening within yourself. A shift in consciousness. A reminder that opposites need not be a struggle, but a dance. Masculine and feminine. Light and dark. Loss and hope. The night is needed to understand the day.
If life has felt heavy, if the dark period has lasted long, then Dagaz invites you. Be steadfast: the Dawn is not only for the strongest, but for everyone who remains. Who keeps believing, even when it is still dark.
Together we ignite Dagaz. We let the old dissolve in flames and carry the new within us. For after every night follows the light. After every ending follows a beginning. After every ash something new rises.
