This year, the Wickered Wildlings will be roaming the grounds of Castlefest with their cart to collect offerings for the Wicker burning ritual Saturday evening. This prevents die-hard Castlefestians from having to wait in a long queue, but also gives new visitors a chance to get to know the idea behind the Wicker burning.
Following the theme of the Wicker (The Dryad), we invite you to think about what you would like to LeaF Behind. Or maybe you would like to Branch Out into new adventures? Or Take Root, anchor yourself in what you want to keep? We will collect these thoughts in a collective offer tree.
On Friday and Saturday, between 10.00 and 18.00, you can bring your own(small) offerings or make one with materials we provide!
